Parking & Directions
Exhibitors should enter through GATE 12 off the corner of Hurley & Ethan Way. Proceed to the L3 parking lot past the race track and behind the Pavilion. Parking passes are not required for move-in, only during show hours.

Check-In
ALL exhibitors must check in at the show office during move-in. Upon checking in, exhibitors will receive their move-in packet along with parking passes, badges, and a program.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
SELLER’S PERMITS: The California Department of Taxes and Fees Administration requires a valid seller’s permit for every exhibitor selling a tangible product and they visit the show to check. If you do not have a seller’s permit, they are available from the CDTFA at no cost. Call (800) 400-7115 or visit www.cdtfa.ca.gov.
INSURANCE: All exhibitors are required to carry insurance in accordance with Section 21 of the exhibitor agreement. To purchase temporary liability insurance for the duration of the show from Cal Expo, call (916) 263-1477. ADA: For the comfort and convenience of all guests, every booth should be wheelchair accessible. If your display has a raised floor, the ramp should be at least 36 inches wide with a maximum five percent grade. Exposed edges of carpet and electrical cords must be taped down.
LOADING DOORS: Let’s be safe and courteous. The venue will cite and/or tow any vehicles blocking loading doors or fire lanes.
TRASH: Cal Expo has a great recycling program. Please break down all boxes and place cardboard next to the trash bins outside the buildings. Do not mix cardboard with trash.

Yes, there is a forklift available for a fee. If you are interested in hiring our forklift driver, please contact us prior to move-in so we can get you on the list. Exhibitors who wait to sign up until move may need to wait until there is an open slot.

BADGES: Exhibitors will receive three badges for each 100 square feet of space occupied.
WILL CALL: We have been informed that Will Call for badges and parking passes to be taken to Gate 12 will NOT be allowed for this show. Please make sure to distribute parking passes to your employees prior to their arrival at Cal Expo or make plans to personally deliver them once they arrive.

A storage area is located in the northwest corner of Lot 26. Security is not provided at that location, so please plan accordingly.

Each 10x10 booth will receive up to 9 DAILY parking passes total. Any additional passes will be charged to your card on file. ($5 per pass).
*PLEASE NOTE THAT PARKING PASSES DO NOT HAVE IN AND OUT PRIVILEGES AND ARE ONLY GOOD FOR ONE DAY.

Yes, the show provides coffee, water, and snacks in the exhibitor lounge. If you would like to purchase a meal, Cal Expo will have food vendors during show hours.
*Exhibitors with special dietary needs or sophisticated palates are encouraged to bring their own food.

The Sacramento Home and Garden Show will be leaving the vaccine/testing status decision to the exhibitor and will not be requiring proof of vaccination or presentation of test results from exhibitors to enter the show. In order to encourage a safer shopping experience, The Sacramento Home and Garden Show asks that all attendees and exhibitors’ social distance when possible and follow local and state guidelines on mask wearing. Visitors will be encouraged to utilize the sanitation stations spaced throughout the show. The Sacramento Home and Garden Show asks that anyone experiencing fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, runny nose, or nausea, to stay home. Please designate your building and booth number on the shipping instructions and plan to be on location when your shipment arrives. Show staff can direct freight companies to your booth. Please do not schedule shipments to arrive before the first day of set up or pickups to be removed after Monday at 2 p.m. The shipping address is: Sacramento Home and Garden Show, c/o Cal Expo, (Building and Booth Number), 1600 Exposition Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95815.
